Cruise Tips
Why a cruise?
A cruise is an all-inclusive resort that doesn't stay in one place! Pay one price, and your hotel, food, fitness, learning activities, games, and entertainment are all included. What makes it better than a resort is that you can visit many spectacular areas of the world on the same vacation without having to constantly pack and unpack your bags! And for parents, most cruise lines offer wonderful activities for kids all day long, and sometimes even into the night, so you can listen to music, dance, or try your luck in the casino.

Prices vary by ship and cruise lines, but if you compare what you're getting for one price as opposed to buying everything piece by piece, chances are you will come out way ahead by cruising!

Just so you know, there are a few amenities you'll have to pay extra for if you want them. Those would be WiFi, alcoholic beverages, unique coffees, and specialty dining. These are called "perks." Also, not included in cruise fares are port taxes and gratuities.
How do I know which cruise?
First and foremost, where do you want to travel? Are you looking for new adventures or a return to your favorite place? Do you enjoy visiting historical sites, experiencing a new culture, or snapping photos of sensational geographical landmarks? Perhaps this is where Tom and Meg can help you decide! Give us a call!

Next, determine your budget and pick a cruise line that fits neatly into it. The inexpensive cabins are inside (without a window) on lower decks and become more expensive if you want a window, balcony, or suite. But look for deals as they are always available. Some include free gratuities, WiFi, alcoholic beverages, specialty dining, and other perks. This is where a cruise expert can help you!

Finally, what's important to you? Quality of food, service, ship's features, entertainment, and shore excursions should all come into making your decision.
